Key milestones
Beginnings in Bagnolet
Maurice and Madeleine THOMAS take over an artisanal broom and whisk manufacturing company in Bagnolet.
Establishment in Chevry-Cossigny
Due to the scale of development, the company moves to 17 rue Jean Delsol in Chevry-Cossigny to expand.
New generation
The company is taken over by Gérard and Christiane THOMAS. The headquarters moves to the industrial zone of Chevry-Cossigny.
Strategic acquisition
Purchase of Etablissements BAROT, a brush factory founded in 1855 based in Bois le roi. This site becomes the injection center of Brosserie THOMAS, producing broom frames, squeegees, brushes, shovels, buckets, toilet brushes and other products.
Third generation
Franck and Bruno THOMAS, the children of Gérard and Christiane, take over. The company expands with the construction of a new building for the manufacturing area.
Logistics expansion
Construction of an extension for logistics in 1998, which will be further expanded in 2001.
Relocation
Etablissements Barot are relocated to a new larger building, built in Chevry Cossigny next to Brosserie THOMAS.
Fourth generation
Charles THOMAS joins Brosserie, representing the 4th generation of THOMAS in the company.
